Together we can make the difference!
We are no longer accepting donations on this campaign, but there are other ways for you to support us today!
Hello to all my friends, family, and colleagues. I am reaching out to you all today as we enter October, and that signals the start of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. As many of you know I started, along with the United States Bartenders Guild, The Helen David Bartender Relief Fund to benefit bartenders and their families who are going through breast cancer.
As you also may know we formed Team Negroni, a national program, made up of bartenders, restaurant workers, suppliers, distributors, enthusiasts, and guests at our bars. We host bicycle rides in cities around the country to raise funds and awareness for the HDRF and the USBGCF. Two years ago, I also set a personal goal for myself to Ride 1000 Miles for Helen during the month of October. This year, due to an unfortunate shoulder replacement surgery I am unable to get on my bike and ride but have decided to attempt to accomplish the task of riding 1000 miles during the month of October virtually on my Peloton. My hope is that I will be able to finish my quest for 1000 miles on November 14th when we roll out in Las Vegas for our 50-mile Team Negroni ride!
Many of you have supported my efforts in the past and once again I reach out today for your assistance in reaching my goal of raising $100,000 for the Helen David Relief Fund. Every dollar raised, like every mile ridden, makes a difference!
I would also encourage those of you who do ride to join our cause and participate in one of the USBG cites hosting a Team Negroni Ride (See list of cities and dates of rides.) Or jump on your stationary bike and join me virtually.
You can follow me on Strava and stay tuned for updates on my journey throughout the month of October!
Thank you in advance for your continued support, and as Helen would always wish her loved ones…Happiness!
Time to Ride!
